I feel that the point of dressing an avatar, is to eventually get one that the user likes. It shouldn't really matter what anyone else thinks/says, because as long as you like it, that's good enough. However, this cannot be said about those who enter the avatar arena. In the arena, you're trying to win. If you aren't there trying to win, you're wasting gold, which could have gone to someone who could have put it to better use.
Anyway, my point is, I like my avatar as is. I even get PMs and comments on my profile about it. However, I'm considering entering it into the arena. Back when I first got this avatar and even earlier today (on Thursday, August 9th), I made a thread, asking for opinions and rates. The few replies I got, all suggested the same things. It needs more white and reds. The problem with that, is their are pretty much no other items, that I know of, with the shade of red that the Kitsune items have.
I've spent a while today, messing around in tektek, trying to come up with something I both like and think helps balance some of the colors. Though I won't be posting it, I'm sure some people will still like it. It'll continue to use majority of the items I currently wear, though possibly in different positions. I'm also going to change the hair style and color.
Before I go and change my avatar, I'll be entering my current avatar into the arena. I don't know when that will be, since I need to write a fancy description, but I'll be sure to let everyone know when I do enter.
