I doubt anyone knows this, but I've kept track of every new theme I've made. The next one I'll be using, will be v7.0 (version 7). What's with the .0 part? Well, with my current theme, I had re-done it a few times. Three times actually, so it would be v6.3. I number them this way for 2 reasons. First, it's just easy for me to keep track of them this way and secondly, I like computers and this is how software versions are numbered.
What have been my past layout themes?
• v1.0 & v2.0 : I failed to keep track of these ones as well as my later themes. I can't recall what each one was, however I know one of them was mainly black, with my avatar in the center of the profile and lightning behind him. It's possible that the other theme was just a revision, but I honestly can't recall.
• v3.0 : My "evil" pentagram, dark theme. I don't think I kept it for long, but it had the same basic layout as the previous themes.
• v4.0 : A very very simple theme. It was gray with the same layout again, but I rearranged a few things and started to shrink/shorten the height of the profile.
• v5.0 : Possibly one of my favorite themes, this was my World of Warcraft Horde theme. It used WoW icons and had a green rust-like background. I did actually make 2 other versions. One was just the sections, with WoW icons and a solid gray background. The other was an Alliance theme, with a gold background. Neither the gray or Alliance versions were ever used.
• v6.0 - v6.3 : One of my favorite themes. This had a futuristic look and feel to it and was very simplistic, with small sections. I loved this theme and really enjoyed working with it. With each revision, I added, moved and altered bits of it. This was my first theme to include a multimedia section.
• v7.0 : My upcoming theme. This theme will be my first 1024 width theme and also make use of something I've yet to see in a theme. The tektek random sig generator. What can the random sig generator do for a theme? Random images, of course. This means I could do multiple backgrounds or other images and have them change every time a user visits my profile. However, I'm not going to use it for the background. It's being used for something else, image related. The tektek random sig generator warns you if you exceed the Gaia sig image size limit, but since these images aren't for a sig, they can be larger. So I feel I should warn people that my next theme may take longer to load, due to larger and more images to load.
When will the next theme arrive? Well, it's actually all set. I just need to get a new code for the playlist (I'm changing it's color and size) and I also should make a new patch (patches are used for "quilts", which aren't really important, but people enjoy making them and collecting them. A patch links to the creator's profile.), which I should be able to whip up today. I won't be releasing my new theme, until certain people are online though. I would rather my friends get the first look, rather than some randoms.
