Can't find it. =[
Not even at Best Buy.
Nightmare on Elm Street is one of the most classic horror movies ever made, and is still popular in today's horror culture. Freddy Krueger is still an icon 27 years after the first movie.
Problem is... I can't find the first movie. Now, I found the old "Halloween". Let's pray NOES never gets remade... Robert Englund is still alive and well and would gladly play Freddy. So it would be more like a sequel if anything. rolleyes
Why aren't stores selling it, anymore? I saw a boxset online (Bestbuy.com) that was pretty recent (2006) and had the first movie with better sound, picture, etc. When I went to see if they still had it, the employee I talked to said they took it off the shelves.
BLHOEFDHEFHDFJSSKK....
I really REALLY don't wanna have to resort to ordering it online. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope Wal-Mart has a copy, because I don't trust eBay, and I don't wanna have to pay extra for shipping and handling.
It's just so frustrating because I see "Halloween" everywhere and that movie is even older. It's been 30 years since that movie came out, and Michael Myers isn't scary anymore.
Normally, I'm not the biggest fan of Wal-Mart, but I have a giftcard, which means they already have the money and I might as well use it. I might chnge my opinion on Wal-Mart if they have Nightmare. =] Let's hope so.
