This was my last clear thought for a while. Everything went really cloudy… which was kind of irritating.

-Anger to the rescue again.- I thought vaguely.

Next thing I know I’m in the next room and being forced none to gently to my knees with my forehead pressed to the floor. My knee cracked and I think I
screamed.

There was a murmur and they eased off, letting me rise back to my knees. My knee made its displeasure at bending and staying bent continuously known even through the fog. I winced and shifted uneasily but they held me on my knees. Maybe it was a good thing they were holding me. Even with a blue stuff boost I swayed dizzily.

I blinked constantly, my eyes tearing.

Suddenly I noticed that Gerome guy right in front of me, large as life and twice as good looking. He seemed to appear right out of the haze. He was seated on a backless throne like stool, clad in only a loincloth and a fresh from the shower it looked.

I swayed a little more and dropped my eyes. – He’s pretty.- I though muzzily. – Got muscles too.-

The tile floor under me was cool, damp, hard and unforgiving on my injured knee.

I wondered who was going to clean the mess up I’d left in the other room up. Not me, hopefully but I was sorry for whoever got stuck with it. It really wouldn’t be a fun job.

I’d glance back at half naked guy without realizing it and his lips were moving but I couldn’t hear what he was saying. There was an odd buzzing in my ears.

My headache had gotten lost somewhere in the maze of narcotics but it was still there and lurking in the background. My head hurt and I was having trouble focusing on anything… especially through that blue haze.
