Loss of Power - Yesterday, we suddenly lost power for about an hour, I think it was. Not just my house though. Looked as if it was my entire street or at least the ones I could see from my window. Turns out, a street away, their was a fire. An old abandon house, caught fire. It's an expected arson, though it's unsure right now. The house had been being used by kids, as a place to throw parties (they didn't have permission to do so) and it's expected kids set the place on fire. My dad said he drove past it today and theirs pretty much nothing left of the house.
While the firemen were taking care of the fire, one of them were injured. If they find out who caused the fire, not only will they be charged with arson, but also the injury to a fireman.
30 Days of Night - I just finished watching 30 Days of Night. It's about a small town (150 something people) in Alaska. Alaska gets 30 days of night fall. During this time, I think most people fly elsewhere, until it's over.
Anyway... the movie is about a small town preparing for the 30 days of night. Almost as soon as night hits... so do a bunch of vampires. It's a very good movie and I highly recommend anyone who like vampires/horror movies to see this one. It's a different vampire movie. Other vampire movies show the vampires get larger canines. 30 Days of Night's vampires however, get shark-like teeth, which they pretty much devour the victim's neck with. Very bloody. Very good.
The only thing I wish they did, was give the original vampires subtitles, so I knew what they were saying.
