I woke next morning with my period… and an extra body in my bed again. Once more, neither of us was wearing a stitch.

-Sheesh- I thought but he was still asleep and it doesn’t matter if a Gate Ganger misses school, but it was getting late so I crawled reluctantly out of bed to chivvy the twins. I didn’t really want too. My body was still in ‘let-me-rest’ mode but since mum wasn’t chasing them out of bed, it was my job and Amryn too, if he wasn’t already rousing and rising.

My body felt stiff and clunky… definitely in need of a shower too but I’d get to that later.

-Honestly, we’ve seriously got to get those girls an alarm clock! After all, I’m not exactly reliable right now.- It took five minutes to get them up, getting them moving was another matter.

It took half an hour or more to make sure all three siblings were up and moving towards ‘I’m ready’ status and by then I was fragged. Mum arrived just in time to pick everyone up and I crawled into bed in the twins’ room. Damned if I was crawling back in bed with a naked guy, no matter who he was.
I felt better today. A lot less ‘I can’t keep my eyes open.’

I’d just settled back into sleep when something dragged me upright with a yank. It wasn’t physical and my head hurt.

-Damn… guess who just woke up.- I staggered towards my bedroom, where Ger was sitting upright in my bed looking P.O.ed.

“Mnn?’ I mumbled swaying in the doorway.

“Where were you!” he looked angry.

“Mnnn? Roused sibs, school, twins bed closer, g’night.” I flopped down at the end of my bed, dragged blanket that had fallen off over me and rolled over.

I heard a sigh and the bed covers pushed back. He tugged the blanket off me and picked me up. He was still in the raw. “Hmmn,” I mumbled and went back to sleep. It felt weird as he’d climbed back in and cuddled down beside me.

-What’ll mum think?-I wondered vaguely and slept.
