I had gotten a lead on Croix and was suppose to meet White at our spot, the abandoned battle field where we always met, but I was distracted by what I had found when I came out of my office. “What’s he doing here?” I asked staring at the fur ball who had recently smooched me. “This is a PUBLIC bar, no?” He replied with a sarcastic snare which I planned to rip but then Curly stopped me. “Hawk, he’s a good friend of mine.” “He’s a jerk.” “I think he’s kinda cute.” DC’s comment didn’t help anything but Ara’s ego, which he thanked her for by giving her a kiss, she blushed. I glanced at lone for some help, she shrugged. “Stay away from him.” I told Curly and then I looked at Ara. “And you stay away from her.” “Hawk!” Jup shouted standing near the entrance. “Can I talk to you outside for a minute?” I followed her instructions and stopped where the forest met the tavern. “What?” I faced her but my eyes glared into the foliage. “What’s you did in there was wrong!” “So I get a little possessive…” “A little? Hawk, Curly’s not your girlfriend anymore; you have no say in what she does.” She was right and I sighed. “How are you and ghost doing?” She looked at the ground. “Things are still rocky.” I placed a hand on her shoulder knowing I was the cause of their problems. “Sorry…” She shook her head and crept back towards the Haven. “You need to make a choice again Hawk, either you’re with her, or you’re not.” I exhaled once more hating the Idea of another decision that I didn’t really want to make. “Her name’s Sakura.” White informed me once I made it too our spot handing me a picture of a pretty cute girl. “She also has a relationship with Croix along with Shadow, the friend Setto told you about. “I nodded staring at the image. “Good work White. Two girlfriends… it seems our Croix is quite the lady’s man.” “I wouldn’t say that…” “No?” I looked in time to be kissed on the lips. “I think you’re more of a man than he’ll ever be.” I blushed and swooped her onto the ground and we began making out heavily but then she stopped. “What’s wrong?” I asked noticing tears in her eyes. “I heard what happened today.” She replied following awkward silence. “You’re still in love with Curly…” Right then I knew I had to make up my mind. “Come by the Haven later so we can settle this.” I said before I got up and left. Later that night I found the two women I was torn between and told them to come into my office. I closed the door and told the situation and then white did something unexpectedly; she walked up and placed my hands on the vixen’s shoulders and said. “You should be with Curly.” And then she left. I watched the love of my life at that time walked out the door and I turned to the other I loved and made my choice. “I’m sorry Curly.” Escaped my lips before I ran out the door into the storm.
