It's been some time, no?
Heh. I hardly get on the net anymore, and when I do get the chance it usually runs pretty slowly, so I've put Gaia off for some time. And a lot has happened since I've last been on.
First off Finals are over and I'm starting a new quarter. And for the first time in my life I failed a class. >-< I think it was the teacher, and how she taught, and the class itself, and the fact that it was at 8:30 in the morning. But anyways. I guess I'll be taking one last class next quarter then I graduate with my associates. Huzzah!
And over break my Papi came down to see me and Mi-ko. It was really fun we hung out a lot, and Dad fixed up the house a little bit. He changed the shower heads and fixed our bathroom light. It's been broken for years now so it's cool to have it back. He also bought me an Amika hair-straightner. heart I love it so. It was really good to see him again.
Jen also came to see me at work. ^-^ I always like talking with her. Cause I get the best ideas, like Wizard Snarf. 3nodding
Um, Oh! It was Millie's Birthday not too long ago. A-chan, Gizzy, Brittany, and I took Millie out to eat. And we all got dressed up for him. ^-^ It seemed like he had a good Birthday, and I can't wait until next year when he turns 21! I want to buy him his first drink. >-< But while we were at dinner he had told me of the release of a Phoneix Wright manga. The next day while shopping for my Mom I found it. I was expecting it to be a manga version of the game, but it turns out it's like DiGi Charat's manga. Basically it's a gathering of stories from different manga-kas. So I'm picking little bits up about the game, but I'm sure I would be enjoying the manga more if I was more familiar with the characters. So far I like Phoenix. >-<
My Mom's B-day went good too. I picked up Mi-ko from work at 11, and we hung out until midnight to wish Mom happy birthday. Then we all sat down and watched Sleeping Beauty. You know as a kid I didn't really grasp a lot of that movie. Like the part where Malificent tells the prince how she'll release him when he's old. And I told Mom about how I used to be scared to death of the fire place in our old house because of that movie....It's a really creepy scene! That music is scary!
Which leads us up to yesterday. Mi-ko woke me up and asked me to take her to work at Chinatown. And on the way there she said she had forgot her phone at home. And she needed it because, she got off at 7 but had to go her second job at 10. Mom and I both had work so she needed to call a friend to get a ride home. So I drove home found her phone and then drove back to give it too her. I hung out with Mi-ko until I had to go to work and I convinced her to close up shop so she could drop me off and have my car to get home. She got off of work at Starbucks at 2:30 a.m. and I told her I would pick her up. But...I decided to take a nap...and well you can guess what happened. Luckily some police officers gave her a ride home. And she says she forgives me...but still!
And that should pretty much catch you up on my goings on.
Oh! Teal Tears is still coming out good. I've actually written out the whole idea for the story. It actually has a begining, a middle, and a freaking end! However I think I may cut the parts of some characters down a little. >-< Like I said I want this comic to be a way to work out my inner demons, so I want to focus mostly on Teal, Starz, and Virdy.
Oh! I want Starz and Teal to battle this monster, but so far nothing is coming to mind. If anyone has an ideas that would be great! I was thinking of like a sea-type serpent, or like a giant bug/worm thing. Something with scales or plates. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great and I'd really appreciate it. >-<
