So looks like the 'legends' show is going to be cancelled. We got like three or two weeks left. Then we get moved to Harrah's. *sad*
Mom's not so hot on the idea of me taking in the kitten A-chan found. *sadder*
And I broke down and bought the 'Twilight' book. *confusion*
So firstly, I've completed half the hours I need for my internship. (Huzzah.) But it's about Midterm-week anyways, so I'm gonna' try and put in even more hours if I can, especially now that the play is closed so I need to find something to do with my Fridays. But Meda's not to happy with the Imperial Palace closing up the 'Legends' show. Not at all.
Yesterday was my last day at the play. It's a good and bad kinda' feeling. I'll miss all the actors and the stage crew. But I won't miss the chick with the horrible attitude. She gave me a good talking too for pulling out my phone to check the time. Well sorry if it's a boring play! gonk
Secondly A-chan rescued some kittens. I'm in love with the black one. I want to call him Meyer Link, after the vampire in 'Bloodlust', but Mi-ko is stuck on calling him Nickles. But Mom's annoyed with Penny, so she's not so bright on the idea. sweatdrop I still love that kitty though.
And yes. I finally broke down and bought 'Twilight'. But I bought the paperback version, with the movie actors on the cover. I'll admit I'm having a hard time getting into the book. I struggled though the first chapter. To me it was almost identical to the begining of Barbara Corcoran's, 'My wolf, my friend'. After I finished the first chapter though, I thought long about the book. I decided to at least give the book a chance, and read it all the way through. With such a big fan base it should get at least a little intreasting. But it was my teacher's words that really caught me when I told her I was struggling with the book. She said it's not really the story, or the writing style that draws you in, it's the characters. It's kinda' stuck with me. I'm a bit of a vampire fan, and the whole idea of vampire's walking around in the sun just bothers me a lot. So I can't really say I'll ever accept Edward and his 'family' as a vampire.
However I'm still reading the book. I finished chapter two the other day, but I got annoyed with the author at one point. >-< Bella is backing out in the school parking lot and she says he almost hits a car, which just happened to be a Toyota Corolla. *sigh* Then she went on the say that her car would of made pieces of the Corolla. I kinda' looked at it as a personal attack. And just got irratated. I soon realised I hate Bella. She bugs me. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the movie trailer, but she's just one of those people who rub me the wrong way. I'll tear your car to pieces. That Corolla gets a lot better MPG than your truck, my dear.
Other than that life is still going. Still pretty tired a lot. But I've just got a few more weeks to go. >-< I made a promise with myself, if I don't miss anymore classes I'm going to buy myself something nice. I'm batting back and forth a few ideas. But I think I'll go with the cheapest of my final contestants. >->
Anyways, lots of loves!
Today's lesson: Shakespeare invented the word "assassination" and "bump."
