Not all, but most. Mostly with old users who egos have gotten
the best of them over time. I'm even more sadden by the fact
that the new artists of today will maybe someday become
like them overtime; or worst.
Art is a right. You have the right to offer it or not.
Those that are 'privilege' enough to get it are the lucky few.
I want to believe that drawing for others is mostly a favor.
And that getting rewarded for it is just a bonus, but not the main goal
to finish a work of art.
When an artist is on an artist block nothing will get them out of it.
Only time will fix it. Not even the rarest of items and millions of gold
that you offer will change it. By knowing this, you should feel so fortunate
to ever get a piece of artwork. This is why I believe it's mostly a 'favor'.
A gift of some sorts from an artist to a user.
Some of the most amazing talent do art for free. I'm lucky
enough to know a few of them. They don't do it for a price.
Knowing that a few users like that exist in Gaia makes it worth it
to keep drawing at least. Are they mad? No. They're above all
of us. We should learn from them always.
But now Gaia has become a mess. And what's most upsetting is that
the artists in this site don't make it any better.
I hate auctions because we artists are not items to be bought.
I hate artists that are so egoistical that they demand nothing
but high bribes and rare 2K3 items. Especially when they make it clear
that they don't care about the site and that they can quit any day.
They see pixels as nothing and all they talk about is their
'precious time' and how much it's worth in their eyes.
Yet they open slots and demand high payment.
Since when did Artists became so corrupted?
Since when not drawing good enough is not enough?
Since when not being gifted enough anymore?
Since when bringing joys to others
with your special talent come with a price?
Since when not being admire for your talent enough?
When did all of this happen?
I, as an artist cancel all of my art trades.
I will still do art that I owe for free. Because my talent
doesn't come with a price. Because my 'precious time'
cannot be bought with pixels nor RL cash. I am the laughing stock
of the R&C for being the cheapest and easiest to talk to in their eyes.
Everyone is too expensive, everyone wants rare items and prices.
Everyone brags about how amazing they are, and they all come
with a price. In all honesty, I am sick to my stomach to know this.
I hate all of the artists I know. I hate the way they are.
The way they price things, the way they demand things.
I just hate everything about them. There is nothing I could ever learn
from them. Overall, I just feel sorry for them.
I started accepting orders for my own funds of a request thread someday.
Soon after I was swamp with orders that I started taking bribes.
And then I realize that I was no different than those that I hated.
I felt like I was being egotistical, and it made me sick. My art request thread
will never happen. I won't have funds for it anyways, and no artist
will draw me for free. So there is no point.
My art is not for sell. I will draw you because I want to.
Not because you order me to. I am not for sale. Nor is my art,
nor my time. I do it because I want to, because it makes you happy.
Because I can. And if I can, why not?
Why not use my gift to put a smile on your face?
If I can make my GF happy with a simple doodle, why not you?
I have no idea how anyone can get art out of me.
I have no price tag on me. Nor my time as well.
Even if you offer me millions, I probably wouldn't take it.
I feel at a total lost and that my time in Gaia has finally come to an end.
I cannot open a shop and sell my art like I wanted.
I will not be getting paid for the art that I will do.
So I'm flat out broke. And I doubt I'll sell my rares to buy art.
Since I hate all of those people that demand such high payment.
I will only draw to those that I want to.
I will not be rush. I will not be bother. I have a life of my own.
And I will work on art when I can and want to.
Getting 'Rumor' art will be the next rarest thing since the Angelic Halo.
So GL. Don't PM me for art. Don't PM me for anything.

NOTE :: I've accepted a few commissions. Mostly because I'm a softie
and I can't seem to say 'NO!' to them, especially if they have been
chasing my art for a while. Doing it for 'free' is something many won't
allow me to do, for some reason they find it wrong. xP
So I just let them set the price. Many may consider this as a 'bribe',
and it may stand against what I have posted in this entry.
But if a person wants to pay me, that's something I cannot control.
Appreciated greatly. All funds will be going to my future request
thread. C: I'm also going to be selective about who I draw or not.
As well as who I'll commission in the future. I refuse to draw and buy
from a corrupted user/artist. I'll refuse to fall ill because of it.
It's just something I cannot do. I also appreciate all of those users
who have supported and feel the same way I do about this entry. heart
