A familiar-looking elf darted from the shadows and sat on the body.
"Hiya."
It was Kyto's best friend. Before she chould say anything, a beautiful, silky voice floated to her ears.
"Good Evening, Seimian"
Her eyes widened and she caught her breath.
if it is possible to die from surprise, I am sure that I just did
Her body made her jerk up and spin to face ehr new attacker- Trent.
My body is frozen...Why can't I move? Is this one of his powers or my own foolishness?
His red eyes were fired with passion and emition, boring into hers.
"Shall we dance?"
He darted towards her, a silver dagger in his hand. She was stunned, but her body kicked her into action and she managed to dodge most of the swipes. Her unwillingness to fight him seemed to perplex and somewhat anger Trent. He made a stab at her gut that landed home.
Semians eyes froze, open wide, as she stumbled and fell backwards.
"T-...Trent.." she gasped out. He squatted next to her.
"Why did you not fight me? Why did you not save yourself?"
She smiled weakly, feeling pressure on the edge of her vision.
"I could never har~aaaah!"
Her body convulsed as she tried to grip the sorce of her pain, her leg, but there was nothing there.
Trent had cut off her right leg.
"I...could never...harm you...I...love you..." she panted out
She heard a wet squelch and twisted her head to see a dagger sticking out of Kyto's chest.
"Yo, Trent, let's go. They're dead, or as good as."
Seimian watched the stars fade from her vision. this is not how it was supposed to be...
