Been a while since I wrote an entry. Been busy with the Halloween event. Anyway...
Halloween Event - As I said, I've been doing this. I finished the factions part within the 2nd day of the event starting on two accounts. The trick or treating portion of the event I have continued to do since day one. Why? More items, of course.
My opinion on the trick or treat items:
"Jackster" is the name of the set and it's like a Halloween themed jester outfit. Overall, it's not too bad. I'm not fond of the big pumpkin item though.
My opinions on each factions items:
Human - shield, helmet, crowbar all suck. Smoke bomb is pretty good, if using the smoke pose. Bazooka... ok, I suppose.
Zombie - All pretty good, but not too impressive.
Vampire - Again, good, but not too impressive. I'm not a fan of the coffin... or any item that covers/replaces the avatar.
Dark Elf - I really like pretty much every item from this faction.
As far as the skins go:
Human - the basic skin. Nothing special.
Zombie - Not bad. Not as good as the original zombie skin. I wouldn't stick with it, due to the eyes. Skins with eyes cause problems with items like some face tattoos and the eye contact items.
Vampire - Same as last years vampires. Same issue as the zombie skin, when it comes to face/eye items.
Dark Elf - Love it and sticking with it. Great skin that doesn't alter the eyes.
It really doesn't matter what skin you end up with though. If you wanted to change your skin, but was too late, it's alright. I've read that they are going to add them to the tattoo shop as potions, similar to what they did with the centaur and imp skins.
Kung Fu Panda - Watched this a few days ago. I had heard mixed reviews about it and was rather unsure of seeing a movie with Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Jackie Chan as voices of some of the characters.
After seeing, it, I'm glad I watched it. I found it to be very funny and worth seeing. It's a CGI movie about a panda (voiced by Jack Black) that works selling soup. He has dreams of becoming a ninja and part of the elite team that protect the village. Doesn't have to dream long though, as he's picked by the eldest master to start training.
I recommend this to anyone who like CGI and/or comedy movies. I feel I should warn people... one of the masters of the team are a snake. Warning people of this, due to some people having a fear of snakes.
World of Warcraft - Last time I got to play WoW, I managed to get my warlock into a group for the Halloween event, which was to kill the Headless Horseman. Managed to get myself two new rings, which were better than what I was using.
I also got my hunter from about level 43 to level 49.
