Ping Pong Playa & Balls Out - The Gary Houseman Story
Ping Pong Playa - Comedy movie about a Chinese family. Father runs a store. Mother teaches ping pong classes. One brother is a ping pong champion and a doctor. The other brother is... a rude, bad mouth, horrible basketball player, but tells everyone he's good.
The "good" brother and the mother end up getting into a car accident, which was caused by the "bad" brother. So the "bad" brother ends up teaching his mother's ping pong class, since she's injured. He also ends up having to train for a ping pong tournament, so some British guys can't win the trophy.
Pretty good movie. I'm not into any sports, but I still enjoyed this. I'd recommend it to anyone into comedies and/or sports (ping pong).
Warning: It does have swearing, but it's bleeped... sort of... instead of the usual bleep noise, it's a basketball hitting the ground noise.
Balls Out - The Gary Houseman Story - Another comedy sport movie. This is about a guy who grew up with his brother and dad, playing tennis. The dad would always cheat, letting the other brother win. Gary ends up quitting tennis and travels the country. He ends up becoming a school janitor for a while, until he meets the school's tennis coach and becomes assistant coach.
Great movie. Another movie I'd recommend to anyone looking for a comedy movie about sports.
Warning: This movie contains nudity, swearing and an 8 year old girl with a dirty mouth.
