A walk in my geta
To steal a phrase from one of my friends, this is Mostly Lovely Randomness.
Fifth Entry
Seimian Renor Solen
4 day of the Month of Lunae
Dark Elf Sanctuary and Tavern

Hushed, excited murmurs invaded the plesant void into which I had been cast. There was no pain here, nor the visions or voices. But they soon returned as I regained conciousness.

"She's awake!" someone whispered elatedly. I wondered why he was so happy, and why he couldn't be a little quieter. My head was killing me.

A cool hand grasped my shoulder and shook it gently.
"Seimian? Are you there?"

I squeezed my eyes tighter, then grudgingly opened them a little. Before I could think about it, or stop it, a slight moan of pain escaped my lips.

"She lives!" The first voice shouted. I wished he would shut up. His voice was rather annoying. The room swam into view, and I noticed an aura of wetness. Not exactly dripping, but not very dry either. And... stone? I was sitting on a cobbled stone floor, worn smooth by generations upon generations of people. I propped myself up slowly and looked around the gloom... which was no longer gloom. I could tell it was SUPPOSED to be dark, but to my eyes it wasn't. And therefore I could see exactly where I was. It matched to a 't' a place my mother had used to scare me to sleep at night.

Mother...Mother's stories were real

A few tears escaped my depthless eyes, snaking down my cheeks slowly. The warm tears felt odd in such a chilly place- it must be outside. The man who had been exclaiming earlier took on a worried look and knelt beside her.

"Are you all right? What is wrong? Did we hurt you?"

I recognized him as Dyami from earlier. I could tell that he would be the main person I saw for however long I was here- for the rest of my life. I shook my head.

"N-no... just remembering... a story Mother told me when I was young....."

Mother must have been here then. How did she know these people?

I looked up in time to see the five people around me loking uncomfortably at myself and eachother, and my brow furrowed as theirs smoothed out.

"Don't worry, You'll be fine here. You're not in that place anymore, this place is much more plesant." Wynter smiled and went to the cell door, the others following.

"She'll fetch a high price on the markets, I can assure it. The daughter of the fallen princess Tetua? People would kill to own her." One of the group commented in a low voice as they were leaving.

A small boy peered in the slats of a small space that led to the outside Shaelin world.

"Hey, there's someone in here!" He exclaimed. Two small wings were starting to sprout from his back, placing him at an age just older than Kyto- probably about 12 or 13.

I looked up at him wearily, lickng the blood from my lips. The wounds where I had bitten through it had reopened and started to bleed again. I wondered who this boy was, and why he was spekaing to me.

"Do you need something?' I asked, not unkindly. He was more welcome company than Dyani. He grinned.

"Nah, not really. Just no one's been in here since that last lady, Tetua... I wan't born then, my father told me the story. I can't believe she escaped. Hey, ill stay and talk to you, but you can't tell the guard I was here, ok? they'll hurt my family if they find out. I'm not supposed to be here."

I smiled weakly and nodded. "Sure, no problem."
