Family Part 2: At Home
Finally out of the rain, safe in front of a roaring fire, Father sits in the bosom of his family, smiling in the corner of heaven he's provided for his loved ones
Mother leans against him, her head laying gently on his chest, as she wears her husband's arms like a shall, an easy smile on her lips as she listens to him singing gently to her and their children
Their son stares intently at the fire with the wonder and imagination bestowed upon him by his dreamer parents, his mother vigilant, not letting him stray too close to the fire place
Mother clears her throat as Father gently pulls the boy back to the rest of the family
The little girl, their daughter, plays with a doll as she nestles between her parents, not separating them, but being focal point for their love, and as their boy settles next to his mother, a family portrait slowly begins to form
Father gently rests his hand on mother's stomach, giving her a knowing kiss on the cheek
She looks into his eyes, sharing a moment of unwavering love, the feelings they hold for each other filling the room, almost over powering the warmth of the fire
The parents lean in close, sharing a passionate kiss, their children unfazed by the love their parents do not bother to hide
The picturesque family hold onto each other in comfort and in strife
The weather and the elements try to batter them around and weigh them down, but their love over powers the world's hardships
The tree they have rooted around the foundation of their family is strong and sturdy
Nothing can tear them down
