That's right, I've come to the conclusion that building relations here in Lincoln City, Or is an ultimately trivial effort. Not to say that it's pointless or impossible; I simply mean that with the exception of the people I've already befriended, making friend's in a place I can never cal home seems otherwise... unnecessary. I feel no regret in saying that noone here can ever match up the family bond I created with complete strangers back in Texas. I harbor no remorse for any of my actions, nor for whatever opportunities escape me in my decision. I know where I want to go in life, and I know who I want to spend it with.

On a lighter note, I have constructed yet another fine piece of literature that I'm sure will uplift more spirits than my previous works have. Some of you may have already read this poem, but I feel tht everyone needs to see this.

My Dream of You

I dreamt of you last night
As the Sand Man whisked me off to the gates of unconscious peace.
I dreamt of what should be
Of how everything was set into place like paradise.
I smiled in my slumber
And reminisced that you would always be by my side, no matter what.
I slept soundly in my bed
Wishing that you were with me, no more than a hand's breadth away.

But I stirred as well
As thoughts of losing you plagued my mind and heralded my thoughts.
I fell into darkness
A pit so black and deep that your light vanished from my sight.
I cried in my sleep
Wept for my loss, feared that forever we'd be split.
I arose from my bed
And found you lying next to me, as all things should be.

I don't think I've ever written a more personally meaningful poem. I love Kiffy, and nothing, NOTHING can ever change that!
