Mi Vida Reborn
Just some random stuff in my mind. May have random fanfics, adult language, high levels of sarcasm, and themes not suitable for those who are young and/or sane. You have been warned
How It All Began (A With You ficlet)
Now it's the prologue to the entire plot line. Actually, this is the first chapter of a prologue that I was gonna write, but ultimately decided to scrap the idea. Like I said, part 3 will cover a bit of it.

How It All Began

"I can't wait to get to the colony." said a blue haired teen. "Yeah yeah," said a silver haired male, "You've always wanted to see a divination done live. But I must ask Ami, did I have to come with?" The girl, Ami, nodded. "You know my mom and dad wouldn't let me go if you didn't. I am their only child. Lighten up, there should be something there for you too Kyoh." Ami and Kyoh were sitting in a P.P.T shuttle. "Ladies and Gentleman," said the female hostess. "We'll be soon arriving on the Guardians Colony. This is the primary headquarters of the Guardians, a privately-run defense force. It is highly praised for having the diversity of Casts, Newmans, Beasts, as well as Humans working together in harmony." Ami's sky blue eyes lit up at the site of it. "We should be landing shortly, so please have your belongings together before leaving the shuttle. And thank you for riding P.P.T."

"So this is the colony?" Ami said. Kyoh had to admit as well that it was astonishing. "When does the divination start?" he asked. Ami thought about it. "A couple hours. So we can do a bit of sightseeing before we go take the Line." As they were talking, they were walking around the shops. "Eh really?" asked a girl. Kyoh and Ami stopped to see a couple. "I do believe that we are aided by the intervention of the Holy Light on a constant basis." said the male. "This meeting is one of them." Ami rolled her eyes over how much the girl was gushing over the male. "Come on Kyoh, let's go. I hate people like that. Just a couple of words and she falling for the guy." Kyoh sighed. "Fine, whatever. I think you're just jealous that someone won't say that to you." Ami picked up speed in her walking. "Whatever! Like I would lower myself for that."

They continued walking around the colony until it was time for them to go to the observation deck. Ami and Kyoh were going to the Linear Line when someone bumped into them. "Excuse me." The person revealed to be a girl, around twelve or thirteen. Her hair was brown and in pigtails. "It's alright." said Kyoh. "Lumia! Wait!" Another male ran past them. He stopped for a moment and took a breath. "Sorry for her. She really wants to see the maiden." Ami smiled. "It's quite alright." The male then ran again. "Don't run so fast, or we're going to get separated." When the two left. Ami stopped. "What is it Ami?" She shook her head. "Nothing, lets hurry on the train."

Ami and Kyoh were now at the observation deck. "I wish we were here a bit earlier, could've gotten better seats." Ami admitted. Kyoh took his seat. "At least we don't have nosebleed seats." It was quiet when a woman made her way to the main stage. "It's the maiden..." Ami whispered. She was awestuck at seeing her in her divination attire. The maiden smiled into the audience. "May the Holy Light shine upon you all." She closed her eyes while taking a deep breath. A gentle blue light shone from beneath her feet. A few moments later, her face turned to a frown. "Wait, what is this?!" Suddenly, there was an explosion. She turned around to see something hit a ship behind her, completely destorying it.

People in the audience watched in horror as the destructive shower came upon the colony. That horror turned into a frenzy as people tried to leave the area. "Kyoh!" Ami shouted. He stood up, but the sudden influx of people trying to leave seperated the two. "Ami! Ami!" Ami tried to fight the crowds to reach him, but it was like fighting a strong current. Next thing Ami knew, she was in one of the corridors that led to the deck. "Well that's just great." She looked around and took notice to the damage already done. "Just follow this way and you all will be able to make it out of here safely." instructed one of the Guardians. Ami had heard about the Guardians but never seen one up close. She shook her head and began walking, per the instructions. She felt the ground shake beneath her. Then, just below her feet, the stucture gave way. "Miss!" shouted one of them. Ami instictively tried to reach out to the edge of something, to no avail. But then she left a rope grab to her ankle. But this rope was damp. Ami looked and her eyes widened.

She was looking at a creature she didn't know. It wasn't like the animals on the colony she lived on. This one was very hostile. She could faintly hear someone say, "I'm going in, keep the back steady." Then she could make out someone falling down with her. "Grab onto me." Ami nodded and grabbed the male's hand. The creature was tugging on her ankle, determined to take her down with it. "Don't let go." he instructed calmly. Ami nodded. The male used his free hand to materialize a gun and shot at the creature. A few cries came from it. Then Ami felt a burning sensation coming from her ankle. "Owww." It was almost like it was burning the flesh off the bone. "Dammit." said the male. He shot more rapidly at the creature. Finally, the creature was defeated. Ami could feel it loosening up and ultimately let her free. The male looked up. "Alright! You can pull us up now."

The two made their way up to the surface of the corridor. "That was close." said the male. Ami looked at her ankle. It was like the creature was trying to eat away the flesh. There was a distinct ring around her right ankle where it binded her at. The flesh was showing and bleeding. "Someone get a medic here quickly." shouted the male. He stood up and pressed a button behind his ear. "I need to see if there are anyone else. Stay here until a medic comes okay." Ami nodded. "Thank you." The male showed the faintest of smiles. "It's what being a Guardian is about. You were very calm about it." Then he walked away.

The male looked around another part of the corridor and stopped. There was beeping sound coming from his commlink. "Yeah?" "That medic you asked for finished. It looks like she'll be okay and the leg is still functional. " The male heaved a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear. It must of used an acid." Then there was another beep. "Prescott, get to Block D quickly. There's a shortage of men there. " He nodded. "Right." He removed his goggles to reveal his brown eyes. "Emil out."

It was the day after the Seed attack on the colony. Ami and Kyoh were at a bench. "So it'll leave a scar?" he asked. Ami nodded. "Yeah, A ring around my ankle. I'm just relieved that it hadn't got to the bone. If it did, then would have been nothing the medic team could have done." Ami closed her eyes. Just yesterday, she was just a couple seconds away from death. "I'm glad that I left with a scar. If that Guardian hadn't jumped in to save me. Then I would have been down being who knows what for that creature." Ami stood up. It still stung a bit when she walked. "Hey Kyoh, I want to join the Guardians." Kyoh leaned back into his seat. "What sparked this?" Ami shrugged. "I can't explain it that well. When I was being saved yesterday I had a feeling that I was safe. I want to give others that feeling you know." Kyoh stood up. "If you feel that way, then I'm going too." Then he smiled. "Since when have I left you to do stuff by yourself. This is actually one of the few things that we can actually agree on doing together." Ami smirked. "I won't lose to you." "Neither will I." he said back. The two walked to the Guardians branch.

So there we go. Believe it or not, I wrote this before Part 2 was even done. So yeah, I had Ami and Kyoh meet with the others as they were civilians. So as you can see, Emil's been a Guardian for a while.

Next Time: "I shouldn't have done that. Stupid. Stupid. STUPID! He probably thinks I'm weird now."
