This was written for Fluffy about two or three years ago, so it's nowhere new.
The sun is slowly setting
Coldness begins to drift in
The dying tree's in the middle of this winter
Remind's us of our past sins
As I watch the darkness grow
I realize what we've become
Every thought and emotion flows
Through this pencil, it is done
I remember the times we spent
So many words were spoken
Did you know what they meant?
Though my heart was broken
I kept a smile knowing you were happy
Because god we all know
I am just that sappy
Now that night has unfolded
Remember my words true to the heart
I'll always be your friend
And never far apart
Your smile lights up my day
And your happiness...
It paves my way
So my dear I say goodnight
Sweet dreams
Because of you
Tomorrow will be bright
