So let me start this entry off by stating that this has been one busy and long week. I'm SO glad that this weekend is right around the corner. Don't get me wrong, it's been great spending time with all of my friends and taking care of job applications, but I think today really got to me because there was so much running around. I woke up at around 11 this morning and started my day off with my mother ranting in my ear about jobs. I've been searching and applying everywhere ALL FLIPPING WEEK and sometimes, it feels like it's not always enough for that damn woman. Ahh, but alas, I love her, and she is my mother.
As the day went on, I went out to lunch with dad and ran some errands around the mall. Ended up running into a friend who said Kohl's was hiring. Taking the opportunity, I decided to apply there today. One problem, I didn't have my reference list, so I had to go back home, get my list, and go all the way back to the mall. On the way home, dad had to stop at a few other places. While he was in K-Mart, I got a call on my phone stating that someone was trying to break into the house. {Yay for alarm systems}. Well dad and I rushed back home, {lucky for us we were only five minutes away from the house}, and when we got home, the doors were still locked and everything inside looked fine. Possibly someone was testing out our new back door to see if they could get in our house and triggered the alarm that way. That is what dad thought, anyways.
Well, we fixed the door {we had to flip the glass} which took about a good.. 35 minutes. I grabbed my list and out the door we went again. Now.. keep in mind, when we left the house earlier today at around 12:30 this afternoon, got home around 3:30pm, left the house around 4:30, and by the time I got back home and done with all of this crap, and putting in an application at Kohl's, it was around 6pm. So yeah, today was full of running around all over town.
Yesterday was another good day, up until around 7pm, but for fear of giving out too much info, I won't get into that. Lets just say that the person who called me was really dear to me, and the fact that he was in so much emotional and physical pain, broke my heart just a little bit. I talked to him today, and emotionally, he's a bit better, but now he's sick. {maybe the flu or something} I pray things get better for him and I just hope he'll be okay. He's very important to me and I would be crushed if anything tragic happened to him.
Anyways, I've gotten a bit long winded with this, so I'm going to end it here. Till next time lovelies.
