Today, was ultimately, a great day. I started off my morning with job searching, up until around 2 this afternoon. My friend Kiki came over about that time, and that was when the fun began. Typically, Kiki and I don't get to see each other that often. Ironic part, she lives just down the street from me. Haha. So today, we spent the first hour sharing ring tones, catching up, and just being silly. Eventually, we gathered up money, all in change, and headed down to Mike's Market for some afternoon energy drinks. On the way down, Kiki started this thing up where she would wave and say hi to random people in cars or walking down the street.
Eventually, on the way back, and energy drinks now in our systems, Kiki started getting rather crazy about it. At one point, some high school kid got off the bus, she said "Hi" to him, and when he only looked at her funny and kept walking, she started screaming at him "You know! Traditionally, when someone says 'hi' the other person says it back!" Of course, she was being silly and just having fun. Long story short, we ended up walking to the park that is near our houses and on the way there, she continued waving to people driving by. One point, some guy drove past us, turned the car around just to yell out the window at Kiki, "STOP WAVING, b***h!!"
Now.. most people would get pissed at this and fume over it. Personally, we found this quite hilarious and laughed about it the rest of the evening. Honestly, I think that was one of the highlights of today. Luckily for me, I had been filming this, so I caught the guy doing this on camera. PERFECT! All in all, today was just a good day in general. God gifted us with a fairly warm day, nearly cloudless sky, and it was just beautiful.
