I Love You, Beth Cooper - An ok comedy about high school kids. It's their graduation day and Denis (a nerdy valedictorian) confesses his love for Beth Cooper, the most popular, hottest girl in school, during his speech. That speech leads Denis to have the best day of his life, thanks to Beth Cooper.
The movie was decent. Not a great comedy, but not too bad.
WARNING: This movie contains reckless driving, adult humor and Hayden Panettiere side-boob (closest thing to nudity in the movie).
Star Trek 2009 - First off, I am NOT a hardcore Star Trek fan.
This movie was pretty good. Explosions, decent story and some funny bits. When I first heard that it was being directed by a non-fan of the series, I was unsure about it. J.J. Abrams only wanted to do an action movie and thought Star Trek would be good to do. Anyway... he did a good job with it. It's based on the early lives of Kirk and the original Star Trek crew.
I recommend this to any Star Trek or SciFi fan. Action movie fans may enjoy it as well.
