It's an interesting thing to wonder, right?
What if something huge that is a part of our everyday lives just up and left? If it simply wasn't there one day? And then what if it never came back? If blue just ceased to exist. How could you explain it to others? One one sound like a madperson, "Ah, yes, it's like er...well it's..erm..well, it's between purple and green and it's sort of....blue-y..."
Exactly.
So, if the thought process is that way for colour, shouldn't it be the same for other tihngs as well? Namely people? So many people come in and out of our lives every year, every hour. (Unless of course you are a hermit, but that's a different story.) Each person that you pass on a street is like a window or door, like on an advent calander that you can open up. Everyone has a different story, they all have problems and ambitions, hopes and dreams.
Many have credited a change in their own lives to the life of one person who at some point they met and found new meaning through. Now, granted, some for better and some for worse, but everyone admits to have had someone at some point shed light or darkness on them.
But, what if one day, they weren't there. They had never existed. Is it even fathomable, the effect it would have? I know that I personally would be sitting curled up somewhere reading a book and letting the world pass me by. (I prefer what I am doing now-i.e.living)
It would be interesting to see though, just for a day, what the world would be like without the most influential people in everyone's lives (if there would be anyone left in the world) or with the colour blue missing.
