He led her a different way. Instead of going through the village like he normally would, he took her around to a hidden path. Pine trees hid them from view. The only noise that could be heard from this point was the whipping winds of the blizzard. "Wizard-kun.. where will we go?" He didn't reply. He kept his head down as he walked. "Wizard-kun...?"
"Fai.." he responded.
"What?" Jynette walked closer to him as he never turned around or turned his head in her direction.
"Call me Fai..." The older girl was taken back slightly. She stared at the back of Fai's hooded head and repeated, "Fai..." Fai was leading the girl to a place he'd discovered awhile ago. It was close enough to the castle that he could come visit her without problem. He was quite sure that no one bothered with such an old place either. Fai had started across an icy path. He was having zero difficulties getting through, while Jynette followed close behind. Her slick boots weren't made well for this particular condition. She slid once, caught her balance. Then she slid again, falling forward, flailing around like crazy but unable to stop herself from falling. She squeezed her eyes shut in expectation. She felt something wrap around her arm and pull her. She opened her eyes to find that she wasn't falling but being pulled across the ice by Fai. He still didn't turn to look at her. His gloved hand kept her steady as she tried to move about on her own again.
