My parents are out of the house for the day at my uncle's birthday party. It's at the beach, so there was no way in hell I was going. I'm not crazy about the beach (too sunny, sticky, and sandy) even without his kids screaming their heads off...
Did I ever mention I really don't like little kids? Because I don't.
I'm getting used to this site by now, and I can navigate it pretty well. c: I really should play zOMG and Towns more, but zOMG's title makes me cringe a little and the flashes lag sooo much. Gaia really needs some better servers for their online games...
Lately I've been using my brother's Macbook Air that he gave me. I actually really like this operating system ouo Unfortunately, not only does having a laptop encourage me to sit in bed even more than I normally do, it makes it harder for me to get art done because I'm never at my desktop with my tablet. I really need to figure all this stuff out. Summer's half over and I don't want to have wasted the whole thing! Maybe I should put my traditional materials right next to my bed so I can pick them up whenever and I don't have the excuse, "But it's all the way over there across the room."
By the way, Gaia's text editor makes me crazy. Every other website I use uses HTML! I have to learn all the stuff for BBCode now...it's a good thing I pick up computer languages pretty quickly. I've got to get back into computer programming before I forget everything I know, too.
I've been trying to get back into studying world languages. I think that they're really, really interesting and I love reading about grammar in other languages and stuff. I'm great at French, and I've been trying so hard to get better at Japanese, but it's really difficult to find good resources for learning it.
There's so much I need to do; when will I manage to get the motivation I need to do it all?
