Eire's blog-like-thing
Tales of some such, nonsense, stuff and a bit of normality ... wait ... I dreamed that. (commentz says the sheep!! You've got to do what the sheep says.)
Hum, hum ... Junior Cert results ...
Let me just start by welcoming you to the ... actually I don't know how many entries there have been so far ... we'll just say 6.

*clears throat*

Welcome to My 6th Journal Entry!! A tiny look into my everyday life (why I write this crap I don't know) and possibly a story or two.

Today's main topic: The Junior Certificate Results. *timpani and flash of lightning followed immediately by a menancing roll of thumder* (I think I should go into film directing)

But, anyway! I get a little side-tracked ... my results are as follows : 6 A's and 4 B's.
I'm very pleased with that and I'm shocked that I actually got an A in German after the terrible ordeal with the tape *shudder*.
The Junior Cert, for all of you lucky folk that have never come across it, is the first offical state examination. You are scared shitless by the teachers threatening you with it from the first bright day of 1st Year. You sit exams in each of your subjects (usually 10) during the summer and then you get your results mid-September. I got mine on the 13th of September.

Story-time Readers!!!

But, not to drag the whole mood of the piece down. I've written a little piece of a story. Seeing as I can't hear very well at the moment I've decided to waste my Saturday, telling ye stories.
This is an excerpt (rather the only piece I've written) of a horror story for children to adult children.

[name] woke suddenly. She'd heard it again. And there was her mother telling her there was nothing out on the mountain to be afraid of. Little Billy Murphy disappeared last week, the family were trying to cover it up, but [name] and her friends knew better.

She crept out of bed and went over to the window. The glass was frozen over and her hand make no print when she lifted it to touch the glass. She reaslised how cold she was now.

BANG!

She spun around to face her fear head on. But it was too late. The thing was crouching low over her bed, ready to spring. She gazed at it with mild interest. She'd heard tales about the terrible Shrone Monster before, but she could see now the 'eye-witnesses' were all wrong. There it stood. Half hidden from the moonlight, now streaming in through the frosted pane of glass. It couldn't have been more than 5 foot 6. But it was baring it's teeth. It's yellow, sharp fangs were dripping. Half sheep, half something-or-other its visage was twisted into an evil grin. The blood-stained wool surrounding it's upper half was torn and open wounds were visible. It's hind legs were quivering in anticipation ...

"No!!!" she yelled before the creature sprung. The last thing [name] saw were the horrible luminescent eyes flaring as it leaped from her bed.

She and her family died that night. No one saw or heard what happened, they were just as thankful for that. If I ever give anyone warning about the thing up in the Derrynasaggart Mountains, it'll be this.

Never go alone.

And so ends my journal entry. I hope I made some impact on your nights sleep. Until next time, dear reader.
