This is Nails, he is an otter anthro from some strange, dark place in my mind where weird jobs are quite common and frequently fun. He works for the 2x4 industries, a public service not unlike a trash man. In fact 2x4 industries is almost an exact mix between trash man and paperboy. His job entails him going out into the world, meeting new people, reading their thoughts, and beating them down with a plank of wood. Seriously, if someone thinks, says, or does something particularly stupid Nails or one of the other fine employees of 2x4 industries will show up almost instantly and beat them down with a plank of wood.
Nails is a little on the scrawny side, but that only makes it that much funnier when he comes in and starts breaking planks over peoples' heads. Some say he enjoys the job a little too much, and frankly I agree. He's got a few problems to work out, and how he works them out is through his job, so stopping him would only worsen the situation. He has gotten in trouble frequently for running out of two-by-fours while on the job (he tends to break them a lot) but he still makes employee of the month because he's the company's hardest worker.
