I just read a very good book that was sent to me from Tallorian. He can always tell which books I will like. *To her goat* No George, you cannot eat my journal. Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to write that, oh well. Anyway, it is about a girl, Laenlis, who wants to see who her true love will be. She searches the stars until she finds the name, Naddile. She sets out to find Naddile, but on the way, she encounters many people. Including Reidar. Reidar is somewhat undesirable at first. He is rough and not very courtious, but he refuses to let her travel alone. Laenlis, being very strong willed opposes this, but in the end, has no choice. Throughout their journey, Laenlis is cold to him, but afetr he saves her from a number of perils, she begins to question if the stars were indeed correct. After a long search, they do find Naddile adn he is everything Laenlis hoped for. Reidar stays asone of their trusted guards, but he cannot stay after Laenlis agrees to marry Naddile. Soon after he is gone, Laenlis finds that she misses him dearly and Naddile goes off to fight in the battles. She can only choose to follow one, Naddile or Reidar. Of course, she does choose Reidar because what type of story would it be if she didn't choose the course not laid out for her? She finds him and they realise they are in love, but now she questions the stars. How could they have been wrong? No, she realises, the stars have only told her what she needed to hear. Had she not set out on a journey to find Naddile, she would never have found Reidar. Don't you just love stories with happy endings? Oh, by the way, Naddile ends up marring another girl that he found while at war. heart
