So today I recieved my very first ever brain injury...I think. I was walking down the hallway when this kid named Gaberial ((I think thats how its spelled)) who is a friend of a friend of mine ran up to me and yelled, "HEY NOAH!" I turned around and he grabbed my face and slammed my head into the brick wall behind me. For the next few minutes everythings a blur, but I remember punching him in the eye, and thats when he ran off.
I remember wandering around for a little bit, and then somehow ending up in the school deans office. I told him what happened, and discovered that for punching him in the eye I would be getting a detention. He'll probably get much worse though. I was immediately sent to the nurses office, and they evaluated me. Despite the fact that it took me 10 seconds to remember my name, and say a basic sentence (("Hello my name is..." wink ) they said I was fine. I went about the rest of my day, looking at my schedule and such.
When I got home, I was immediately taken to the hospital by my mother, where they evaluated me as well, turns out I have a slight concussion. According to the doctor, I need to stay awake tonight for a while, if I fall asleep and allow my body to shut down for a while, I could potentially fall into a coma.
Right now I am busy listening to music I recognize, and things are coming back to me fairly quickly, if I happen to forget your name, please, try to be patient and be thankful that I remembered how to type and spell so I could inform you all of this.
