We have a cat, named Babe (my mom had named her... I hate the name.). Babe, like all cats we have ever had, has a heart murmur (I think that's what it's called). I really don't know exactly what it is, but I'd assume it's not good.
Anyway, maybe 3 days now, she's been occasionally breathing heavily. Other than that, she seems fine. She purrs, eats normally, etc.
We aren't sure how old she is, since we brought her in. She used to be a cat that just wandered our neighborhood, until our sister fed her one day and she stayed around our house and kept trying to come inside. Because of that, my sister brought her to the vet, where is where we found out she was spade and had the heart murmur.
So, because of her breathing heavily lately, I'm a little worried. My parents said that once she passes on, we aren't getting another cat. Babe is our 6th cat. I hope that we do get another pet, because I can't see this house being without one.
