If you had to choose between the most loved person in your family or your best friend, who would you choose? Why?
Hmm... Between both my best friend of my family. The option I would choose would be my family. I really truly love my brothers and sister more than anything in the world. And if it weren't for my Grandpa, I wouldn't be the man that I am today. I'll even admit that my mother's a source of strength; she's been through hell and back, and is still going strong. I know friends are there to support you and to be comforting since they see you more often than your family members, but given with the good and the bad, I find myself seeing how the few people that I have as friends don't always click to me on that same level as my brothers do. To some, brothers can be annoying and tedious to deal with, and sometimes even be complete and utter brats... but once you go away from home and don't see them as much, you miss them, they miss you and when you do finally see them, they're much more like friends in and out than even brothers.
In my case though, my brothers and family members have been my proverbial "rock" of stability when the going for me got tough... and even with each of our own problems and inner demons, we still get along just fine. In my life, family remains when everything else has gone over the wayside... and we stick for each other no matter what.
