Who decides what you wear? Have you ever decided to change your style, and if so, why? Have you ever had to stick to a "dress code"?
Wow...three questions instead of just one. xd
Well, who decides what i wear? Most of the time, I do... but whenever it's something really important, like going to really cool places, and meting new people, I just go ask my younger brother. Oddly enough, just like Jakobo, he had that same realization and went shopping one day with his girl - friends. Ever since then, he's mostly lived by a strict rule to shop only things that make him look better, not just things that look "cool" off the rack. Normally I dress somewhat decently, although at times, I just don't care WHAT I put on (and if the people from the show "What NOT to Wear" were to see me during those days, i think they'd jump off a building. )
oh! and since I wear glasses, not every type of glasses look good on me (oddly enough, the glasses I wear now were suggested to me by a nice girl at the store I bought them, and have had looks ever since I bought them. ( eek exclaim )
Have I ever decided to change my style? good question... so far, I think we all change styles in some way, whether we see it or not. We phase out the old, and phase in the new. There's moments you want to feel good about what you wear, other times you just find the first thing that catches your eye from your semi-awake state (at least that happens to me) ... but as of recent, I've been saving up to go on a small shopping spree with certain "fashionistas" in my life. Now, I don't earn a lot, and i do have things to pay, so staying within budget sometimes is really hard. Even so, good looking clothes don't come cheap so if I want to change my style this would be the time. Why would I want to change my style? ... simple. I have the same tried-and-true pair of jeans and t-shirts...I switched a long time back to Polo shirts, since they feel much more comfortable (and because a good lady friend of mine said I look good on them) so I've been thinking of getting more than just my simple share of denim...and try other threads, such as pleated and straight leg pants.
Have I ever had to stick to a "dress code"? Well... counting the school years in my life when I had to dress with uniforms... and during my first real job as a music store clerk, I had to use a white button-up shirt with a logo embedded on it. Even though I had to wear those shirts back at the music store, they really looked good. Even so, as of right now, being a security Guard means I also have to stick to wearing a certain type of uniform... so yes, the answer to this last question is ...Yes. ()

You can also browse for sales and such, right after a major holiday or near the end of a season, there will generally be a lot of things on sale for decent prices that would normally cost a lot more. ^^
