Family: Royalty of a Celtic-like country, Slyviane is the eldest daughter of 3 girls
Betrothed: Prince of some country
History: Born a princess she was raised in the usual way of royalty. Besides all the usual book learning, etiquette, needle work, and dancing lessons she also had horseback riding (side saddle of course), and archery. She became quite skilled with the longbow, but also learned the basics of using a crossbow on the sly (crossbows being deemed unlady-like by her parents.) Also on the sly she learned quite a bit more about healing than a noble technically should know. In an effort to create a strong alliance with a powerful country, her parents betrothed her to the price of that country. Traveling by sea to her betrothed's country her ship hit a nasty storm and shipwrecked off the coast of the island. As almost everyone on board was heavily armed, they were attacked shortly after washing up on shore. Everyone was slaughtered, except her. She had shifted into rabbit form and hidden under some of the wreckage that had washed up. But, she couldn't change back due to a broken leg acquired on her way to her hiding spot (a vampire stepped on her while fighting one of her guards). Poisyn was wandering/exploring the wreckage a couple days later and found her. She nursed Slyviane back to health and in the process discovered that the bunny she named Shadi was in fact a human. Poisyn taught Slyviane the basics how to fight once she was recovered, as she didn't know much more than that. In return, Slyviane taught Poisyn how to use a crossbow (after attempting to teach her proper archery and failing due to Poisyn's aiming issues). The hunter some how ends up taking Slyviane on as his protege. She puts a lot of effort into her training as she feels obligated to get off the island and back to her people or to her betrothed's country. She and the hunter somehow fall in love and become lovers. But then she breaks if off, feeling guilty because she has a duty to her people to marry that prince so technically their relationship is wrong. She goes off to be a hunter on her own, aided/hindered by Poisyn who had learned some by watching from the shadows, and is further trained by Slyviane after she gives up trying to prevent Poisyn from following her 95% of the time. Before leaving the hunter, she gives him an enchanted pendant she was supposed to give to her betrothed on their wedding night that could send a call for her no matter where she was, or what form she's in. She then goes off on her own and hunts down vampires and tries to extract needed information from them about which direction to go to hit the nearest civilized land mass to the island. And of course saving the odd villager and helping out the hunter when he calls. She also randomly visits him because she can't help herself.
Persona: Very dignified and independent. She is also logical and wise, and learns quickly. She rarely makes the same mistake twice. She can be rather aloof, but is extremely kind once you get past that. She's tolerant and not high-strung. Slyviane is extremely prone to a sense of duty, and can be extremely selfless/self-sacrificing. Her thirst for knowledge is nearly unquenchable, and her curiosity is boundless. It hasn't killed this cat....yet. She is extremely cultured, and took a few years to fully adjust to life on the island.
