First the colors r to be winter like its an elk.
Second dont act so smart if you knew about art you would know that the elk's glow would be defeated by the colors, black gives it a contrast or focus to the elk.
Third its dull blue. The dull coloring brings your eyes away from that focus so you can see the eyes pop out but why do i bother saying this if ur never gonna read it. - Report As Spam

Aside from the interesting color choice (makes me think of winter, which I'm not sure is the point of the piece or not), the constant thickness of lines, and odd face, this piece is quite well done. I'd like to have seen a background with a similar style, only toned down of course, to emphasize the elk. I'd suggest adding a thicker line set as you move towards the edges of the elk and fixing hte face up a bit. The light blue is tought to see with the mingling of blue and white.
