This is actually a painting I created that's based off one of my characters in a book I'm writing, her 'Crimson Nightmare.'
Each time Vexis has this dream, it's gradually eating away her life force, she'll eventually die from it if this nightmare never ends. Ahead floats the ascent to darkness, the staircase to despair. You may choose on whether or not you wish to enter, but the moment you do, your life ends right then and there. - Date: 12/15/2008
