  • Very cartoony style, but that doesn't detract at all... His left arm, the one holding the scales, is perhaps a little too far 'forward'; I'm not sure you should be able to see his shoulder like that. It makes his pose seem awkward. From the apparent angle of the light, there should be a shadow on his right side, the gold and blue headdress piece. Very good 'Expectant' expression, however; he's either offering the scales or judging the viewer.

    All in all I like it. 5/5

  • Overall, a superb piece of art. The background texture and color really portray a sense of "being judged". All the textures are great, and the only flaw that I can see (and I'm being unbelievably nit picky here) is that it looks like there should be a cast shadow from his muzzle, but I don't see one. That incredibly minor flaw, however, is more than made up for by the scales, which are both accurate and awesome. *applause* One of the best pieces of art I've seen in a while.
