So this image is the second in a series of drawings I have been working on. The idea behind the series is that I want the artwork to show an echo of what is and what has been. This was made using charcoal and prisma color.
This drawing includes the Japanese poem that I named the series after. The poem is as follows:
Our life in this world-
To what shall I compare it?
Its like an echo
Resounding through the mountains
