- Vampires (originally Vampyres) have been corrupted and slandered from their original, bloodthirsty selves. Their origins are probably from a mix of Count Vlad of Transylvania and Pacifican/ Carribean cannibals (as Vlad never drank blood, despite his enjoyment of torture and sacrifice (although not to Gods, else he would be holy, possibly).
