Your shading is good, though it looks a tad rushed. And you need to work on eyes a bit.
I like to use white acrylic paint and splash it- it gives pictures like these a bit more of a feel to it. And you can always fix the white of the eyes, etc with it. :] Keep it up. I'd love to do an art trade with you one day. - Report As Spam
