  • Title: Secrets in the shadows
  • Artist: Nookicky
  • Description: I went through about 439587349573498 sheets of photopaper to finally get this print right.

This isn't the actual one I turned in...
The best one I turned in for a grade, and the teacher kept it to put on permanent display.

This is one of those 439587349573497 rejected prints.

That white on the side isn't something wrong with the picture, but with the scanner.

    I'd like feedback...
What makes this picture good, what makes it bad?

    Camera - Nikon N2000

  • I like it, ur use of light and shadow are good. The eye stands out and draws the viewer in.
I think the one thing that would have improved it would be a more solid background off to the side, like one color so that it would make the subject stand out more.
    But that's just my opinion...

  • Why did you scratch out her eye? I can see your editing clearly when I tilt my screen. Other than that, very nice!

  • AGH I feel your pain. I love that you did this on photopaper, that really adds to it. I use film myself and I love using photopaper as well, but it can be really hard to get the filters set up, as well as making sure the chemicals don't mess it up :/ It looks really good thouuuu~
