Those flowers are good and bad in this picture I think both Lace and Gehn are putting a point in.
But The flowers make it as though your looking around to see the brigde that they talk about,
Or the flowers could get in the way of what you are talking about. the bridge.

- I disagree with Gehn. The flowers blurred out shows an obvious purpose, directing the eye to the crisper image and making one feel as though they are actually there, pushing forward towards the bridge, focusing on only that which is before them.
