Alone she walks, through these snow-layered streets
She has nothing, nobody to cling to or grasp.
Always wandering, in search of something to possess, to keep,
'Tis her life goal, her spiritual task.
She once had a friend, another young girl,
Whose friendship from which she'd sought her;
She was then taken by a mean women with curls,
It turned out that she was her daughter!
Another young friend, a courteous boy of sixteen,
She learned that his name was Fred.
He fell in their play and punctured his spleen,
Soon the poor boy was utterly dead....
She'd given up hope to find something for her,
When Santa gave her a box and a jolly good 'yuck!'
Inside she thought was something good, its for sure!
When there was nothing, she gave St. Nick, "WTF?!"

- Description: This is a story-poem about a girl who had nothing, but ol' Saint Nicholas gave her something to call her own. I find it humorous, even though the rhyming isn't that consistent... ^^;
