• I rub my hands across the mug,
bringing them warmth as if in a hug.
    I breath lightly,
As if my lungs might freeze,
    Please please,
    Please hear me.

    You are sitting,
    out in the snow,
looking unfazed by the freezing wind.
I put my feet down for a crushing blow,
to the crunchy, icy, blank, white, snow.

    I walk up,
    freezing in my boots.
    Lowering myself,
    I see your eyes.
Those soft, innocent, bright, blue, eyes.

    I brush the snow,
    from atop your hat,
And give a smile to your little flat expression,
that looks as if you've been struck with depression.

    I kiss your head,
    gently and lovingly.
I set the mug inside your hands,
    But you just stare down,
    As if it was bland.

    I punch you arm,
    just like we were kids.
And follow by a simple 'Please.'
    You look up,
    your face afire.

That's when you said those simple words.
The ones that I have always loved.
    You said I was perfect,
    your bestest best friend.
And that you would love me,
    until the end.

    Now we sit here,
    Our love so bright.
    We want more,
More memories just like that night.
The one that set our love a flight.
