• When each year comes to a chilling feel,
    Father winter comes to feel
    A sense of need in the land,
    Although is his, the task at hand.

    He looks upon therefore with his eyes of nothing more than cold,
    His gaze grips the land of far and near with frost untold.
    Unknowing is the town folk whereupon this chill is bestowed.
    But they too soon feel the bitter trill of Father Winters cold.

    In his glory, Father Winter looks down to see his name shunned,
    For his cold has murdered crop and made the sick sickly.
    He jerks his head away to find but a small boy in the bout.
    He studies the boys fascination of the cold that is so thickly.

    The boy appraises Father Winter for he has done his own,
    But the boy did not speak much more of praise for freeze.
    The boy then muttered how he longed more for the warmth he once felt.
    But with this for Father Winter did not come ease.

    Father Winter was flustered for the fact,
    the fact being that no one wanted his yearly cold.
    What of this tiring every year that he must endure,
    Was it that the frost he sent was becoming quite to old...

    With this a thought race through the Spirits head,
    The ones of the land always love some thing,
    And that very one thing is why winter is known best.
    Snow.

    So Winter's Spirit sent a blanket for the land to enjoy.
    The white, soft, sensational blanket made every one jubilant.
    But this was not the end of the falling of white chill.
    For Father Winter did not stop his icy cold rant.

    The snow was over used and the small boy sat,
    and did he think to himself aloud.
    the snow wont stop, but only fall.
    For this cold is overbearing, and is wished to be plowed.

    Driven from his happy post,
    Father Winter was frustrated at the knowledge,
    He could no longer make the human race happy.
    he brought them but amusement and annoyance.

    Though still he had Brought merriment,
    He did bring disturbance,
    So he left to wait for anew.
    With a different set of thoughts to attain to
