• "Ho ho ho", said Santa to me
    As he put a stack of gifts under the Christmas tree.
    He was so very merry,
    His belly like a cherry-
    Also was his belly
    Like a bowl of jelly!

    Santa got stuck on his climb up the chimney
    So it was up to me to get him free.
    He gave his word of thanks
    And rode across the river banks.
    All I could say....
    Was that today was a special day!
