Winter Kisses
A silent pouring
Of a quiet emotion
Floods the world-
In so few moments of perfect stillness
Everything is clear.
The world makes not a sound
And your mind calms
But your heart races
As you feel so softly
The warm, air brushed whispers
Of winter kisses
Gently, so delicately
Sweeping your cheeks.
Your face flushed,
Against a majesty of white.

Description:
I wrote this because I had a lovely image in my head--something I felt I could put to words. I find walks in the Wintertime to be particularily romantic, not just reserving the sweet feelings of new love solely to the Spring. It illustrates the silence of a scenic walk through the Winter landscape, just two lone figures amongst the untouched beauty of a snowy afternoon. Not wanting to break the pristine silence, your feelings are conveyed wordlessly.
Enjoy.
