    Christmasy lights and peoples faces
    Creating a ruddy, warm glow

    Ribbons and wrapped gifts
    Bright green and red presents
    Everyone is happy
    From wealthy kings to peasants

    Here I am in the middle,
    Grinning from ear to ear
    Surrounded by snowmen and candles
    That flicker everytime this year

    As I sit by the fire
    With my hot chocolate in hand
    I watch snowflakes flurry
    And pile up like sand

    Everything blurrs by too fast
    Like a snowride down an icy hill
    And like a magic spell that's cast
    Here Christmas is, ready to pass.
