    Spoken words do not seem to last for a long time.

    So if these two 'immortals' were to compete,
    Who would win and forever be considered more elite

    Written words could last forever if treated right,
    While spoken words can be forgotten and forever lose their might.

    But while written words may sit around waiting to be read,
    Spoken words will dance around getting stuck into your head.

    And who would judge this contest, who could live that long?
    For surely neither the writer nor the speaker could live to end the song.

    So we shall never know which competitor would win,
    But both are bitter enemies, fighting to the fin.
