Solstice's sun lights the east,
The day's prequel to the solstice feast.
Time passes as the sun fills the sky,
The balance of light 'n dark lifts us high.
The day passes by and the sun falls
And the moon rises to heed our calls.
The moonlight shines through a crowded wood,
Falling like cool water, brimming with Good.
We lift our hands to the sky,
We praise the Goddess for showing us why.
For we are children of the wood,
Our way is the right and good.
And we lift our heads to the sky,
And praise the God for passing by.
And on their Solstice dance across the sky,
They stand both even, in their children's eye.
Though the God's dance grace may be short,
He stands the wait, in their celestial court.
