• Snow is falling everywhere
    Landing flake by flake
    White as a Kiki kitty
Or the frosting on a cake

The wreaths are hung on every door
    There's winter in the air
Christmas should be a joyous time
A time to love and share

Of course not everyone in town
Is as merry or as pleasant
There's a man who is out on his luck
On finding his daughter a present

She says she wants a ninja headband
Or the awesome horns of the demon
The man had no gold to spend for those
On this night, so crisp and even

    He watches the mighty bigwigs
Buying things in the snowy marketplace
And watching them buy things for spoiled kids
Put a deeper frown upon his face

He passes the pet stall with a sigh
And then sees something quite funny
    Pressed against the glass nearby
Is a tiny green rabbit called Grunny

Its little face beams at him
And it has a cotton white tail
It's a festive green with red eyes
And for 10000 gold, it was on sale!

On Christmas morning the following day
His daughter pulls off the bow
And tears off the wrapper, opens the box
And looks at the grunny below.

It is not nearly as cute as the Kiki or Cocos
And it is drooling worse then the babies
And she is not sure or not
If it has been tested for rabies

But she picks it up gently
And holds it close against her chest
And she feels a vibrant and luxurious love
As her heart flies about in her chest.

The snow is drifting white as a yeti
And for winter it will continue to fall
But the little girl is warm with her grunny
    The greatest gift of all.
