Frost on the window pane,
On an early winter morning,
A delicate sign,
That heeds you a warning-
It is not warm enough,
To come outside this morning,
Stay inside ‘til at least noon,
Listen to my warning.
Frost on the window pane,
On an early winter morning,
A delicate sign,
That the seasons are turning-
It is not summer anymore,
Or fall or spring, I fear,
Don’t brush me away carelessly,
For I’m a small warning that winter is here.
As the sun climbs higher,
I’m melting quicker than you think,
You take no time to see my patterns,
As the sky turns faded orange,
And rosy pink.
My artwork from nature,
That I’m sad will not last long,
For someone will scrape me off their cars,
And no one sees that that is wrong.
Frost on the window pane,
On an early winter morning,
A delicate sign,
That heeds you a warning-
It is not warm enough,
To come outside this morning,
Stay inside ‘til at least noon,
Listen to my warning.
Frost on the window pane,
As the sun soars higher,
And the frost begins to melt away,
And begins to die and tire.
Christmas time is running closer,
And your head is filled with cheer,
And you forget to notice me,
And for you a shed a tear
For I will not experience this delight,
And I will not last much longer,
Oh how I wish to experience Christmas!
How I wish that I was only stronger!
Other frost may see this day,
The lucky ones, they are,
They’ll look in on happy children,
Who are all overexcited by far.
Do not let me melt away,
Without taking a good look,
And stay inside this morning,
So I’ll know that it was my warning,
That you took-
And my short existence was not in vain,
As I’m dying on your window pane.

Amazing, truly. Not many words can sum this up, but beautiful would fit to say the least.
Well done. - Report As Spam
